Helen earned her physical therapy degree from Florida International University. She comes to River Rock with over 30 years of clinical experience, incorporating respected techniques into her treatment plans to better serve her patients.
Helen has many niche areas of interest within physical therapy, including:
- The birth continuum
- Digestion
- Trauma
- Energy medicine
Describing herself as “nerdy” about linking research to clinical practice, Helen continues to further her education to increase her versatility as a practitioner. She has completed additional studies in craniosacral therapy at the Upledger Institute, Arrigo Abdominal therapy, and hydrosteaming. She is a member of Pelvic Global/Pelvic Guru Post, Support International – CT, the Association for Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology and Health, and Restore Your Core.
Helen takes a holistic approach to her patients’ care, incorporating specific modalities as needed for each individual.
Her present focus is on the completion of her functional nutrition certificate through the Women’s Integrative Health Institute and Integration Dry Needling. She is also currently completing a post-professional doctorate in Women’s Health.
