Angela Risigo, PT

Angela received her Master’s degree from Sacred Heart University in 1999 as part of the Charter Class. She was fortunate to be selected for an orthopedic, an acute care rotation, a dance medicine rotation that included work with the Hartford Ballet Company, as well as a pediatric rotation at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston. She worked 8 years in orthopedics for Sports Plus, a part of Clemson Sports Medicine, in Charleston, SC primarily as a director of a PT clinic in a surgical outpatient clinic. She also performed Functional Capacity Evaluations for ergonomic assessment.

After returning to Connecticut in 2008, she spent ten years in Home Health Care at Kindred at Home. During that time as the Rehab Team Lead, she was the Subject Matter Expert for their specialty programs including Musculoskeletal, Cardiopulmonary, Memory Care, and her favorite, Vestibular. She also was the State Trainer for their amazing Safe Strides program. Her favorite diagnosis to treat is vertigo because there are many ways to help and no reason to suffer! She became a Vestibular Certified Therapist in 2020 through The American Institute of Balance. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association including the special interest groups for aquatics, geriatrics, homecare, neurology and orthopedics.

Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family and friends and is a Level 8 Gymnastics Judge. Her favorite holiday by far is Halloween!!!

She looks forward to meeting new faces and friends and providing a helping hand and a high level of service to help you live your best life!

Michelle Maiorino, DPT

Michelle graduated from Ithaca College in NY in 2005 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She worked in an outpatient clinic in Quincy, MA before moving to Connecticut where she worked in several local outpatient clinics.

Michelle has studied many various treatment strategies, which provide her a wide range of skills for promoting and achieving patient wellness and goal achievement. Some of those techniques include:

Lilly has many years of experience in the healthcare and insurance worlds. She has a heart of gold filled with kindness. She is loyal, happy and dangerous with a Cricut! She is a talented crafter.

She loves doting on her daughters and her dogs and loves Star Wars. She loves to redecorate and rearrange the chotskies.  You never know where the coat rack may show up next! She has a obsession with laundry-feel free to bring yours!
